Especially on these older switches, strictly stick with the Netgear modules supported (not just the model flashed) to avoid interoperability issues.
– AGM731F 1000BASE-SX SFP GBIC
– AGM732F 1000BASE-LX SFP GBIC
– AGM733 1000BASE-ZX SFP GBIC
– 100FX SFP LC transceiver
You might have some luck by finding Broadcom-based GBIC modules.
- Ralf_POct 03, 2023InitiateThank you for your replay. I bought another pair of identical switches (HP ProCurve) and did some testing. The problem was a faulty LC/LC patch cable. Using the new cable a connection using two 10GTek -Modules and one ProCurve and one GSM7224v2 the LEDs on both switches turned immediately green. Best regards.
