M4250-16XF witch copper AGM734 not working
Hello.
I have a M4250-16XF switch. In the first 12 ports I have compatible AGM731F fiber modules and they work fine.
In the last ports I have put copper AGM734 modules, but none of them work. I have tried other compatible modules from other wholesalers but they also don't work. I have even tried another GSM7328S switch and they don't work. SFP modules are supposed to be a standard.
Has anyone worked for a compatible module in these Switch models?
Could it be a configuration problem?
Do you think that with an original module it can work?
Thanks
None of all these questions apply. According to the M4250 series AV Line Managed Switches Datasheet, p.28 "GBIC SFP and SFP+ Optics for M4250 series":
"M4250-16XF (XSM4216F) supports AGM734 on its ports 1 to 12 only."
Consider to redesign the port usage accordigly, re-locating the AGM734 to lower port numbers 8-)

They are already working.
It's just like you said.
Finally, the problem was that these modules can only be in the first 12 ports and I was testing from 13 to 16, because in the first I had Fiber modules.
The fact is that even a Netgear Support technician was connected to review it and did not know that detail.Thank you very much for your help
