Using xmodem protocol, file transfer fails after transfering approximately 14k to 15k data.
Is there a way to delete the existing corrupted image in the switch.

Hi
Have you tried 9 in the menu? ("9 - Delete operational code") - It wouldn't be my first thing to try, at the start, but considering you have tried several things at that point, what are you risking? (On the M4100 a similar option 14 exists: "Reformat the file system")
If all this fails, you might have problems with the integrated flash memory and this could mean that your switch is gone for good.
Your switch doesn't (yet) have a USB port which would be that other method of getting firmware loaded instead of XMODEM. This option was only integrated with later models. You are therefore pretty much stuck to XMODEM at that point. It might be possible there is an internal USB header not exposed externally or a simply a feature not disabled in this boot menu since you can see "5 - Load new operational code using USB" in your boot menu.
