Network conflict error when attempting to assign static IP to OOB Service port on M4250-12M2XF

Attempting to assign static IP to OOB service port (IPv4).

Can access through DHCP.

Can assign a static IP to VLAN1, but would rather manage through the service port.

In the GUI I select "Service Port" as the Management Source Interface.  I then attempt to config the IPv4 Service Port with the following settings:

- Service Port Configuration Protocol = None
- IP Address = 10.0.0.161

- Subnet Mask = 255.255.254.0
- Gateway = 10.0.0.1

Apply returns the follwoing error:  IP Address/Netmask entered conflicts with the configured IP Address/Netmask of a ruter interface.

Tried configuring via the OOB port and an ethernet port using VLAN1 management.

It is not behaving as expected.  Thanks in advance for any info that can be shared.

Thanks!
