SFP fiber ports between a GS716Tv3 and GS748Tv4 and a GS110TP

It appears changing the patch cord worked, its hard to tell for sure as it's not convienent to restart the switch often. :)

I have not seen such a case. What firmware versions are you using on the GS71Tv3's?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, the firmaware is 6.3.1.11 but after further investigation I think the probelm is due to attenuation, this fiber installation is over 10 years old and to the best of my knowledge the patch cords have never been replace or cleaned, I will report back what I come up with after cleaning and/or replacing the patch cords.
