Steam download overloads GS108Ev3

Question

Hello everyoneI'm using two GS108Ev3 to connect my devices. I also use 2 STB that provide TV (something like Netflix but from Switzerland). The on STB directly on the router always works but the one on the GS108Ev3 stops working as soon as I start a download on Steam. I also noticed that while downloading on steam, I can't access the switches via web interface as they seems to be kinda overloaded. It only happens when downloading on steam (I guess as several connections are made).Did anyone ever have the same problem and a solution to it? I'm pretty happy with these switches except for that detail.Any help is appreciated. Thanks and best regards

Are you just using the GS108Ev3 as a pass-through switch?What is the current firmware on your GS108v3?Have you tried to factory reset your GS108v3?Are you using Cat5e or Cat6 ethernet cables?

Firmware Version 	2.00.03I don't think I use them as Pass through, bot have a IP in my networkI have tried factory reset, yesand cables are cat. 6

check if you can find these on the user-interface.

Switching->Auto-Video
Switching->802.1as
System->management->Auto-DoS

If you have these options, disable all of them .

Also, can you try to swap the 2 STB's and see if the same thing happens when connected to the switch?
