Almost as simple as you have lined out already
- Adding a new VLAN 40
- Marking port 1 as tagged
Updating the PVID to show port 1 is part of VLAN 40- Marking port 5 as untagged member for VLAN 40 (but not a member of any other VLAN)
- Set the PVID for port 5 to 40, ensuring all frames coming in on port 5 are associated wot the VLAN 40
Keep in mind the GS105Ev2 is a Plus configurable switch, built on an unmanaged switch core - in no aspect a managed switch.
