GS105E vs GS105ev2?
Hi, I have ordered online what was described as a GS105Ev2 . I have received what is labelled on the box as GS105E-200UKS.
searching around the Netgear site I saw GS105Ev2 referred to as GS105E-200PES
So is a GS105E different from GS105Ev2?
Is GS105E-200UKS different from GS105E-200PES ? and if so in what way?
I have searched to try and find a definitve answer for myself. I know some technology companies assign slightly different model numbers to the same item for different geographical markets, so I wonder if that is what is happening here.
Thanks.

There is nothing "happening" ... everything correct as expected. The -200 does show the hardware variant of the switch, GS105E-200
UKS while the UKS does designate the packaging and parts included, here for the U.K. market with a U.K. power supply.

Two hardware variants, e.g. due to manufacturing reasons, functionally equivalent. GS105E == GS105E-100xxx, GS105Ev2 == GS105-200xxx.

GS105E-200UKS does come with a U.K. power supply, and English documentation/leaflets/certification information.
GS105E-200PES does come with a Euro power supply, and multilanguage documentation/leaflets/certification information.
The switch itself is the very same. Check the Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Plus Switches Data Sheet - on p.8 you find information on the Package Contents as well as the Ordering Information. Note there are many more 8-)
