10Gbase-SR Netgear to Cisco connection
I have an XS708T with AMX761 10g-sr module and want to connect to a cisco switch. I have two modules for cisco and two modules for netgear along with 2 cables. I have verified the cisco switches can...
I actually got this sorted out. The issue is the modules only want to initiate when connected to the same exact make/model transceiver. You can trick it if you have multiple modules inserted but luckily the netgear switch also support the cisco compatible module so i was able to identical modules in each switch.
