Can I see the ip address of devices connected to my GS308E switch?

No I'm afraid. These Plus switches (with very few exceptions) are built using unmanaged cores. A tiny uC (micro-controller, 8051 style) is adopted to implement initially the Netgear Switch Discovery Protocol, and later on some clever minds managed to add a very basic IP stack, allowing to implement a simple Web UI to expose the unmanaged switch configuration bits for everything you find in the specs. This is about the only L3 functionality available. More is simply not feasible with the available resources. Note even a simple L2 MAC address table for example is accessible.

Have you tried checking the IP address using the terminal from your Raspberry Pi 5?
eg. hostname -I

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't been able to try that because I don't have a keyboard. I'm working away from home for a while and onlu have my laptop. I will get to use a keyboard within a day or so and I'm sure this method will work.
I was surprised to learn that the switch I have doesn't show connected ip adresses. I'm only just starting to learn about networking though.
