Connect 2 GS752TXP-300NAS
Looking for clarification on connecting 2x GS752TXP-300NAS with SFP+ 10GB cable, do I need 1 or 2 SFP+ cables, and what ports do they get plugged into on each? the manual has almost no info on uplinking 2 switches - and switch settings I need to be aware of. Not looking for fail over just connection
There are no specific uplink or trunk ports on these switches. Start with a single DAC, interconnecting two SFP+ ports, for a 10 GB capacity - unless you have higher bandwidth demand for the two switches than what is possible on a 10 GB port. for this purpose, you might have to define a LAG on each if the switches, using the same LAG config on either side.
