Does Pro Safe JGS524PE support active connection
Hi community, does the JGS524PE support active POE connection to support the Aruba Instant On AP?

Active PoE is the standardized IEEE PoE (active is added sometimes to differentiate from the few vendors still making passive PoE systems for whatever reasons - not Aruba does _not_ mention it along with the IEEE standard "802.3af (class 3)". Yes, the JGS524PE does fully support 802.3af.
Please note the "12V DC" applies to the voltage required by a standalone power supply block. On the IEEE PoE, you don't have to worry about the voltage as it's standardized - and thanks to a handshake (this is the "active" part) the power requirements are negotiated. If the specs and capabilities match, the PoE voltage is activated.
Also note the higher max power on PoE is used for the long network cabling (up to 100 meters) - this is going to the cable loss. To get these 8.8W at the AP PD, the PSE must supply up to 10.1W.
An eye on the Gigabit Ethernet Plus Switches Data Sheet does answer your question: The JGS524PE has twelve 802.3af ports _and_ a total PoE power budget of 100 W.
