G748T doesn't recognize new computer Hardware
Long time lurker, first time poster. I didn't see anything posted similar, but have heard of it in passing conversations with other integrators. We have ProSafe GS748Tv4H2 deployed on our exhibi...

Thanks for the info. To provide more detail we aren't seeing any connection activity on new computers that are replacing old computers. These new machines include but are not limited to new generation NUCs, and custom built rackmount PCs using latest available hardware (Motherboards and Gen 11+ processors).
We are not seeing complete failure in blocks/groups or even in singular ports. For example: a port will function/communicate/pass traffic for an old Polywell Mini PC that has an integrated Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet adapter (in use since around 2014). I will move that same cable to a brand new NUC (RNUC11PHKi7C001)
running an Intel(R) I225-LM and get no activity whatsoever. If I switch back, the port comes alive. If I switch from the GS748Tv4 to the v5 we just got or even a spare cisco switch I had laying around, it works fine.
The issue seems to reside between new model NICs and the v4 Prosafe.

Hi phrogboy264,
New NICs model should works fine with the GS748Tv4.
You can check the memory logs after trying to plug the new device and see if it is displaying any errors.
You can send me the logs via private message and we will have a look into it.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Julien R.
