gc110p bricked?
Hi,
I just bought a brand new Netgear gc110p (POE version) to use with my POE camera.
https://www.netgear.nl/support/product/gc110p
After updating to the lastest firmare and testing everything I connected my gc110p to my
Meraki (cisco) ms-220-8p (poe) switch with a utp straight cable.
This is when the problems starts....
I saw the connection led on my gc110p briefly turn on then the whole switch went dead.
It looks like the POE interface of the cisco short circuited the entire netgear switch and it appears to be bricked
since nothing i do makes the switch turn on again.
Can someone please help?

Extremely unlikely, because Cisco/Meraki as well as Netgear does use IEEE standards compliant PoE, no wonky passive PoE. Without a PD (Powered Device) connected, no PSE port will be enabled and powered.
Head to https.//my.netgear.com/ where I assume your new GC110P is already registered, select the device/serial number, or use the [View Product] and follow the [Request Hardware Support].
