gs105ev2 port mirror only broadcast

 

I updated the firmware today from https://www.netgear.com/support/product/gs105ev2.aspx#download to v1.6.0.6. I then enabled port mirroring to listen to all interfaces besides the destination port.

I went to the computer that is connected to the destination port and put the interface in promiscous mode, Then, using tcpdump, looked at the packets coming in. The only packets are broadcast packets like ARP and UPnP. Is there something I am missing to recieve all packets?

    What devices are connected to the source ports? 

     

    Kindly try using Wireshark then check if you will get the same results.
