GS108PE-V3 No Gigabit when connecting to UniFi Dream Machine Pro
Just recently got both the UDM-Pro and the GS108PE-V3.
Individually, all ports operate at full gig, however when I connecte them to each other (no matter what port I choose on both devices) (using a number of different Cat6 ethernet cables), the link between the two is only 100Mbps.
I did upgrade the FW to the most recent.

When I try to force the port to a gig, the option doesn't exist.
Is there a method to CLI into the unit and force it to a gig?

By IEEE it's not possible to fix a port to 1 Gb/s - auto negotiation is mandatory from 1000BASE-T and up. Some vendors work around by keeping auto negotiation but not allowing lower or different link speed negotiation. That's not the idea of the IEEE standards of course. But this explains why Netgear is IEEE complaint and does not offer fixing the link to 1 Gb/s.
Reads like there are some (new?) interop issues with some devices or PHY/adapters/switches.
