GS108PEv3 Network Name change
I have a question so I have setup both switches and now the pics that they are connected to are showing ethernet connection 2 and 8. Now does mean that the connection does allow computers share documents. Now I do gave a server but the server is connected to another switch. I also want know how I can get all the computers to connected together on a single ethernet number connection?

A little bit lost of what you like to achieve here. The numbers are port numbers, relevant to the single switch only. This does not define which computers and/or servers can exchange documents for example. In fact all devices on the same network can ....
- Ok thats what I thought. I have a coworker who thinks that if the network connection says ethernet 2 and the other computer says ethernet 6. For it to be harmonious then they both have to be on ethernet 2
