GS110EMX & Livebox 7
Hi, sorry for my poor english but i need help...
I recently got a Livebox 7 from french operator Orange with a 10gb port.
I've an old GS110EMX given by a frien a few years before. When i received de Livebox, i thought i could connect it to the livebox with one of his two 10Gb ports, so i've buy cat6a and cat7 and cat8 cables to try.
But it's not working : when i plug the cable connected to the 10gb port of the livebox to the GS110EMX port 9 or 10, the switch restart and restart and restart again in a kind of bootloop.
I've waited a few minutes but the bootloop continues.
When i connect the same cable to a port between 1 to 8 it works perfectly but a speed of 1gb, others object like my two NAS and laptop station witch are connected works also perfectly...
I've tried to connect the livebox directly to my PC on a 2,5 gb port it works also...
As this switch is manageable should i modify a parameter to link it to my livebox ?
Thanks for anyone who can help me...

Not much configuration is required, for any Ethernet-Link from 1 Gb/s (2.5, 5, and 10 Gb/s) auto-negotiation is mandatory, nothing to configure on the GS110EMX. No idea if that French box has any config options on that LAN port.
Aside, had connected "any" 10 Gb/s Ethernet device we had at hand during Beta test (and in daily use later), have not experienced interoperability issues since - but this represents a relative small subset of 10 Gb/MultiGig ports of today.

Thanks for your help, i've tried some more issues : when the livebox is connected alone to the GS110EMX 10GB port it works, the auto-negociation make some reboots and the 10GB connection is made.
The problems begins when i try to connect some others devices to the others ethernet ports (1-8 or 9-10)...should i do it in a specific order ? begining with the box is good ?All ports are (beyond of the pure MultiGig and 10G capability of 9-10) are similar.
What other specific devices are you referring?
When it comes to IPTV boxes in place for live and replay purposes, enabling the ICMP Multicast Snooping capability for that single VLAN.
Feel free replying in French language, throw your text into an online translator, and post both language versions.
Cordialement

And Google translate:
Thank you, Kurt, for your help.
The connected devices are:
- Orange Livebox 7 port 10 GB works on port 8 and not on port 9
- Qnap TS-453B Mini NAS on ports 1 and 2 for port aggregation (I don't know how to do this, but I'll figure it out later...)
- Qnap TS-228 NAS on port 4
- Cody X6 router used as a Wi-Fi and wired access point with VPN on port 6
- Targus ACP71 EU docking station on port 7.I tried again last night, and the Livebox connection on port 9 or 10 works when it's alone. It crashes as soon as I plug in one of the other devices. It works on any other port between 1 and 8.
Have a nice evening, and thanks again.
