GS110TP firmware version
I'm setting up a GS110TP that hasn't been used in a while so the first thing I did was to check if it was running the latest firmware, but now I'm quite confused... The support page claims the latest...

If it's safe to do so I'd certainly like to try more recent firmware (e.g. 5.4.2.36) to see if it works any better than the 5.0.2.22 it's running right now... I've noticed that VLAN management via SNMP is very buggy in this release.
I'm working on a project that needs to do VLAN management via SNMP (to setup temporary isolated networks for automated tests) and along the way I've already encountered plenty of SNMP bugs in the main switch we're using for this (a GS748Tv5 running fw 6.3.1.43), but its issues are pretty minor compared to how broken things are on the GS110TP with fw 5.0.2.22.

Different hardware versions from what I can understand.

Not a very informative bug or problem report either way. Well possible one is entering some grey zone with the probably less teste SNMP config controls.

Well that's exactly what I'm trying to get clarification about here. Either
- is this device a GS110TPv1 and if so why did it ship with 5.0.2.22 even though the website claims 5.0.1.10 is the latest firmware for the v1 and what is the recommended firmware in this situation, or
- is this device a GS110TPv2 and there's just no way to tell other than by guessing based on the fact it shipped with firmware that's only associated with the v2.
If it's actually a v2 then 5.4.2.36 is the official latest firmware for it.

Well, this thread isn't a bug report, it's a request to clarify what hardware version this switch is and what firmware I can/should run on it. It doesn't seem very useful to give a detailed bug report for an obsolete firmware version anyway. (Also, I've previously done detailed/specific bug reports on this forum and my impression it's a waste of my time since nothing will be done with the information I provide anyway.)
