GS305E
I just purchased two switches GS305E and GS308E. I cannot get either of them to be found on my network. I have the Netgear insight app on my iPhone and I am able to register both devices through ...

Resetting did not work. I got the other switch to be recognized and decided to send the GS305E back. Thanks for all your help and suggestions. I appreciate the help.

Coming back on this question:
Both the original (initial V1 models dated from about 2019), GS308E and the GS305E lack of the SSDP discovery protocol, and can therefore no longer be discovered by the Netgear Discovery Utility, on the same IPv4 subnet.
The Netgesr Insight Apps can still discover these, and show the MAC and the IP address by using the legacy NSDP L2 protocol - but because these are not Insight manageable, that's all.
The variant released since late 2024, the GS305Ev4 and the GS308Ev4 can be discovered again, a s show up on the Windows Explorer Network view, too.

Thanks for your explanation. Netgear Switch Discovery Tool would not find my GS308Ev4 I installed today. No issues to find it with the Netgear Insight App on my phone. Once I had it set up there, no issues to access it via browser on windows PC with IP address.
