GS308e - Port Status - Colour Question

Hi, probably a basic question, but one I cant find an answer to....  in the Port Status section in the admin GUI for the 308e, where it is showing whether a port is UP/Available... I have both Green coloured UP and and UP showing in Orange...  what is the differentiating factor between the colour differences ?   Thanks.

Afraid, you seem to talk of a different model from the GS308E - which has green LEDs only (both).

The Gigabit Ethernet Plus Switches User Manual does have a newer updated chapter on Hardware, starting on p.8 ff.

What shows up when you open the either of the two connected ports clicking or tapping on the "Up v" area?

Wild guess the added some negotiated Etherner link speed indication as "Linked Speed" (eg. green 1 Gb, amber 100Mb/10Mb), the LED logic of many Netgear switches LED indicators.

Have only older switches with the similar Web UI, not making a difference in the colour of the "Up v", and naming "Up v" as "Connected v"

        .

Admit, on the GS308Ev4 (and many other Plus switches), they use two green LEDs

So, to compare: What do the LEDs left and right LED show fhr the two ports in question?
