GS308T suitability
I'm looking to use pfsense for the first time and planning to use this switch.
Can someone please confirm that the switch will work as described in "Configure Port 1 for trunk access to pfSense" step of this guide?

- Yes, of course - this a very typical deployment.
Keep in mind you configure these switch from the Web interface, the utility (specifically most features of the config protocol) are obsolete and no longr available.
