GS716t V2 firmware update doesn't download to switch
Hi,
it has been a few years since I visited this site.
I am trying to update my 716v2 to version 19 of the firmware, currently running version 18.
Using http download I can select the file extracted from the zip as an .stk but the downoad never starts.
I have tried this from a Mac and from a PC running in parallels on the MAC and nothing happens.
If left long enough the session times out.
Forgot to add this switch has 2 active vlans and I am trying to do the upgrade from the admin designated vlan.

Hi folks,
fixed the issue by upating the time on the switch. The sad part about the firmware update process is the lack of process indicator.
After the update the switch does see a little faster and yes it has been restarted recently to overcome a locked up port that wouldn't talk directly to an intel NIC on the firewall, but would through a 'normal' switch.
