GS724TPV3 wide open?

Hey there, I bought a GS724TPV3 just for the POE functions with having the management option in the future. I need to learn more about management. Until then, how do I just open all of the ports with zero blocking of anything. No port blocking, no vlans, no stopping devices from talking to other devices???

Thanks

Yes, in it's default configuration it behaves like an all open switch, all data is associated  internally with the VLAN 1.

One notable difference is (when I have it right) is that the Spanning Tree (STP, or the compatible RSTP) protocol is enabled by default. Please double check it's really RSRP active, because of he legacy STP (some 25 years+) old industry requires much more time after fixing loops. RSTP re-establishes the network connectivity on less than one second.

Hope you realize there is a lot of technology in such a "simple" switch - for reasons the documentation does span over several hundred pages.
