Hi I have had this switch awhile. It appears to be working ok except that on Microsoft Teams calls they frequently drop out for several seconds. Are there any suggestions as to what I can do to fix...

Hello pgibson
I acknowledge that your switch is an older version, which may be contributing to the issue. Have you tried connecting your device directly to the router to see if the problem persists? If the issue doesn’t occur when bypassing the switch, the switch itself could indeed be the source of the problem.
You might also want to try moving the connection to a higher port number on the switch, or if you're already connected to a higher port, switch to a lower port to see if that makes a difference.
Let me know if this helps, and we can proceed from there.
Have a lovely day,

Thank you I have switched from port 19 and port 3 and will try that. Albeit don't understand why that would make a difference?

Hello pgibson
As I understand it, some Netgear switches have a portion of their ports manufactured using a different brand of board. The reason for this design choice is unclear to me yet.
