GS748T - How to setup VLAN combined with LAG

Hello,

I would appreciate if someone could help me with my questions.

Situation:

I have WLAN-APs that have multiple SSIDs with different VLAN-IDs assigned.

- SSID 'Corporate' runs on VLAN-ID 1 (default) and should be able to connect to PCs that run on untagged Switch Ports

- SSID 'Guest' runs on VLAN-ID 10 and should be transmitted over some switches to the router

- Switches are connedcted over LAGs that should transport VLAN 1, and 10 without loosing the VLAN-ID

- All Ports have  VLAN-1 as PVID

Questions:

- Do I have to 'blank out' all individual ports, that represent the LAG and only set tags (U / T) to the LAG?

- Do I have to do this with VLAN-1(Default) too?

The picture shows what I figuered out to be the correct configuration.

- Port 41(blue) is attached to the AP

- Ports 44-48 (green) are connected to LAG-1

- The LAG is the uplink to an identical switch that is connected to the router.

Thank you for your ideas and help.

  • Hi Rohirim,
    Welcome to the community!

For the vlan config,if you set tags(U/T) to a LAG,can 'blank out' all individual ports that belong to the LAG.
This operation also applies to default vlan.

    Thanks.
