I updated to the latest firmware. The network no longer goes to a crawl when they both are connected to the managed switch. The max speed I get is 440Mbps when they are connected though. When they are connected to the unmanaged switch I get on average 950Mbps

Would you mind providing us the result of your firmware update? How is the status of your network after the update of firmware? I assume your 2nd Nest Pro is also a router. Did you set NAT on your 2nd Nest Pro? What is the WAN or LAN IP of the 2nd Nest Pro?
