is a gs316p compatible with shielded cable?

I just re-read my question and it's not really what I wanted to ask.

Do the GS316P switches have the necessary electrical connections to work properly with a shielded Ethernet cable. I see that some of the GS series switches have a metal plate around the Ethernet ports, but I can't find anywhere that clearly indicates whether or not they support / work with the shielding of a shielded whether cable on order to properly ground it out.
