JGS524e V2 isn't seen, can't get to it's interface
Neither ProSAFE Plus Configuration Utility or NETGEAR Switch Discovery Tool for Windows Version 1.2.103 see the switch on my network. I have many devices connected and the switch appears to be working but I can't get to the interface for the switch. I would like to see what firmware it has. They both say no switches on my network. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Is your JGS524Ev2 a DHCP client? If yes, you can check the IP Address of your JGS524Ev2 on the settings of your router where you can see the devices attached to it. Once you know the IP Address of your JGS524Ev2, type it on the address bar of your browser then press Enter and it will surely prompt you to login asking for the username and password.
Also, if your JGS524Ev2 is a DHCP client, disconnect it from the existing network. Then, connect a PC directly to a LAN port of the JGS524Ev2. Set a static IP address on the PC like 192.168.0.210. Then, type 192.168.0.239 on the address bar of your browser then press Enter and it will surely prompt you to login asking for the username and password.
Note: The default IP address of the JGS524Ev2 is 192.168.0.239.If your JGS524Ev2 has a static IP address set to it, then you can type its static IP address on the address bar of your browser then press Enter and it will surely prompt you to login asking for the username and password.
