JGS524EV2 PROBLEMS
I have a number of related or unrelated issues with switch: Just updated firmware using utility to 2.0.1.26. After update unable to log onto switch using Prosafe utility . Was ok before update ...
Update
Managed to connect using switch discovery tool and firewall turned off. Switch discovery tool found switch and presented option to open web UI.
Logged in using password which was changed to default wither by multiple attempts to hardware factory reset or with firmware update
Updated firmware again and this time it loaded and restarted swtich
Then changed p/w
Then selected option to connect via web UI or Porsafe Utility
Logged off
Restarted firewall
Logged in again ok with proafe utility
What is the point operating a firewall config prohibiting such simple outgoing discovery on a network zone reflecting what should be your basic trusted environment?
Sorry saying: The problem here is (not for the first, not the last time) is caused by some thoughtless decision.
