JGS524v2 ProSafe Gigabit Ethernet Switch Speed Issue
First, I apologize if this is in the wrong "location". Nothing seemed to fit.
Issue: my ProSafe Gigabit Ethernet Switch (JGS524v2) won't allow for speeds greater than about 30-50 mbps. When I run the ProSafe program, the switch is undetected.
Need: How do I get the switch to pass through at the 1 gb speed I'm paying for?
Setup: Netgear Nighthawk Mulit-Gig Cable Modem (CM2000) -> Netgear Nighthawk Wireless Router (R7000) -> ProSafe Gigabit Ethernet Switch (JGS524v2) -> multiple devices
Facts: I average 900 mbps if I connect my devices directly to the modem and I average 900 mbps if I connect my devices directly to the Wireless Router. The switch is clearly the bottleneck and the light for each active Ethernet port stay orange (< 100 mbps).
I've ruled out cabling issues as I have no issues when I remove the switch and use existing cables.
I'm not a networking guy so this has become a frustration. Any help/guidance is appreciated.

Not that this does change or magically fix anything: Scratch this obsolete ProSAFE Plus Utility application
(This product/software is end-of-life) and use only the NETGEAR Switch Discovery Tool (NSDT) instead.

Sorry, I should have included that I have tried that too. It doesn't detect the switch either.
Could this be a modem or wireless router issue? Regardless of having the switch after the modem or after the wireless router, the switch remains undetectable when I run the program(s). Could it be a CPU issue?
