Management VLAN on GS310TP

I'm struggling to use the management VLAN ID under IP Address Configuration and have read through every post related to VLANs and PVID that I can find. Here's what I have:

VLANS (setup on both switches):

• VLAN ID 1 - default/workstation VLAN (192.168.1.x)
• VLAN ID 8 - management VLAN (192.168.8.x)

Switch A, a ubiquiti unifi switch, where:

• Port 2, which is connected to Switch B is setup with:
  • Untagged: 1
  • Tagged: 8
  • PVID: 1 (I don't actually see a setting for this, so assuming this)

Switch B, a Netgear GS310TP, where:

• Port 7, which is connected to Switch A is setup with:
  • Untagged: 1
  • Tagged: 8
  • PVID: 1
  • IP Address Configuration:
    • 192.168.8.10
    • Management VLAN ID: 8

My firewall is setup to allow traffic across the two VLANs.

As soon as I put in the IP address configuration above on switch B, I cannot access its management interface from anywhere (either from a device on VLAN 1 or VLAN 8). This results in me having to factory reset and start over.

I think I must be missing something. Thanks for taking a look!
