MS510TXUP - loosing access after switch reboot (can't ping, but connected devices visible)

Hi all,

I have quite a lot of MS510TXUP units deployed, and I'm repeatedly seeing this issue.

Setup:

PCs --(cat6)-- M4300-8X8F --(fibre)-- MS510TXUP --(cat6)-- POE devices

M4300 fw: 12.0.17.19

MS510TXUP fw: have tried with multiple, 1.0.5.10, 1.0.5.17, 1.1.0.7

Issue:

Initially, I can ping all switches and POE devices.

But, very frequently, when MS510TXUP is restarted or loses power, when it restarts, I can't ping it anymore or access its UI.

When this happens, I can still ping and access the M4300 and the POE devices, and the SFP port between switches keeps blinking. This is, the link and the network still work, but I lose access the the MS510TXUP switch.

Only solution has been to restart MS510TXUP IP switch as many times needed to regain access.

One important note, is that on M4300 UI LLDP Remote Device Inventory section, I can still see the MS510TXUP is visible and has the correct IP assigned to it (see image below. Still I can't access the switch or ping it.

Anybody facing a similar issue?

Any possible fix?

Many thanks
