I had the same issue on Windows 11. Here’s what worked for me: Run Netgear Discovery Tool as Administrator. Set your network type to Private in Windows settings. Enable .NET Framework 3.5 from “Turn Windows features on or off”. Temporarily disable your firewall or allow the tool through it. The default IP is usually 192.168.0.239 (not .329). Use a tool like Advanced IP Scanner to find the switch. Also, try running the ProSAFE Utility in compatibility mode (Windows 7). That solved it for me.

Please use the current version instead of playing around with Windows 11. DotNET is considered a core component of a Windows 11 system, and can't be individually installed, disabled, or removed.
