NETGear GS310TP MAC Address

Using the GS310TP, I often see two MAC addresses originating from the switch. One ending in 7C, and one ending in 7E.

I see the 7C MAC Address labelled on the back of the device, but not the 7E MAC address. Would just like to check if this is intended?

    It’s work as design.

For smart switches, we will allocate 4 MACs to them.

    Base MAC: Management.

    Base + 1: L3 protocol use.

    Base + 2: L2 protocol use.

Base + 3: Reserve for future use if necessary.

Based on the product specs and features implemented, this reads wrong to me. YeZ something to check for the switch engineering.
