Network switch GS305E recieving 100 mbit/s instead of 500 mbit/s

I recently bought the GS305E network switch, but in my router it says that it only recieves 100 mbit/s instead of the 500 mbit/s that I have. since the day I bought this switch, I now have stutters ...

    My issue isn't fixed yet, but I'm at least closer to finding out what the problem might be.
