Retrieve MAC address list on GS728TP
Hi,
Is there away, without using the webgui to retrieve the MAC addresses of the devices, that are connected to each of the ports?
Thanks.
Easy, that's higher SNMP math 8-) ... start around .1.3.6.1.2.1.17.7.1.2.2.1.3 or iso.3.6.1.2.1.17.7.1.2.2.1.3 ...
Example:Name/OID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.17.7.1.2.2.1.3.250.40.128.136.249.74.25; Value (Integer): 3
Value == port
250 == VLAN ID
40.128.136.249.74.25 == MAC address in DEC ... so in HEX 28-80-88-F9-4A-19 if the old cells did it right
Happy Holidays!

Of course by SNMP. The SNMP MIB are readily available along with the firmware on the GS728TPv2 downloads.

Thanks for the update. I've got through the MIB tables, and I don't find anything that suits my need. Can you pin point to me?
Thanks.
