Three GS308E, PFSense, cannot get VLAN working on third switch
I'm working on getting VLAN setup in my home network. All of the switches are GS308E and have the VLAN turned on for the type "Advanced 802.1Q VLAN". The "LAN" coming into Port 1 of Switch 1 is ...

I cannot get images included into the post - might be limit since this is my first post.
Do I have to add the VLAN 602 to Switch 1 and 2? If so, how can that be accomplished as when I tried once, it wanted me to assign a port for Switch 1.
I'll mess around and see if I can get something accomplished.

Yes. Otherwise that VLAN is fully isolated.
Generally I think it's best to set up the all the switch<-> switch connections as "trunks" - carrying all VLANS, and tagged.
I've never set up a pfsense firewall/router, but I suspect you will need to do the same thing on the switch<->pfsense interface.

Yes. But keep in mind these GS308E don't come with a dedicated management VLAN. The simple IP stack on these switches can never be reached by tagged frames, only by untagged ones. So what makes up the management LAN must be strictly kept as an untagged network.

The "LAN" coming into Port 1 of Switch 1 is coming from the TPLink Switch that is connected to the PFSense box. Switch 1 with Port 2 connects to Switch 2 with Port 1. The same for Switch 2 Port 2 connects to Switch 3 with Port 1. Eventually Switch 3 with Port 2 will connect to a ReoLink PoE for my Cameras/Frigate setup.
While the OP talks of there GS308E, there are no (VLAN) config details of the forth TP Link switch. So somehow there are four switches on Our network.
No idea why this wonderful SaaS platform seems no longer accepting (online) images - since ChristineT is no longer working with Netgear, I have no more contact to an active and responsive community admin...
