GS308E suddenly stopped working with power led blinking

Hi everybody.

My device (Netgear GS308E) suddenly stopped working.

When powered on, the power led and the top right led on ethernet port #8 blink fast both.

No other activity on other leds.

No port working.

No similar issue found on the internet

I already tried a factory reset (no response from the device at all)

Any advice is welcome.

      It looks my product is till under warranty... I bought it 4 years ago

      But on Netgear site there is no option to contact Netgear itself regarding the issue.

      The original seller, Amazon, states it is not under warranty any more.

      I don't know what to do.

        Your switch is already registered and listed on my.netgear.com? You can always follow the process as described, there is no need to contact Netgear Support on a different channel, no email, chat, or phone support is required to start this process. You will receive the instructions on how to reach Netgear Support including a ticket number and phone number to call by email on case this is required for the warranty exchange.

         

        Amazon is not involved, this is a pure manufacturer warranty case.

      Hello LoBer

      There was some of Netgear servers that were affected by the Crowdstrike outage last Friday probably the reason why you were having problems accessing it. I suggest to contact Netgear support again so they can assist you with your replacement. Please prepare your proof of purchase so they can validate the warranty.
