The GS308E (see the Data Sheet) does come with a five year limited lifetime warranty for the original buyer. Head to https://my.netgear.com/, select your registered device, and follow the [Request Hardware Support] process.

It looks my product is till under warranty... I bought it 4 years ago
But on Netgear site there is no option to contact Netgear itself regarding the issue.
The original seller, Amazon, states it is not under warranty any more.
I don't know what to do.

Your switch is already registered and listed on my.netgear.com? You can always follow the process as described, there is no need to contact Netgear Support on a different channel, no email, chat, or phone support is required to start this process. You will receive the instructions on how to reach Netgear Support including a ticket number and phone number to call by email on case this is required for the warranty exchange.
Amazon is not involved, this is a pure manufacturer warranty case.

Hi, thanks for your support.
Yes the device has been registered from the beginning on mynetgear.com.
If I follow your instructions I get the following (see image attached).
I have no problem in giving you the serial number (I don't know if it's good habit here)

Hello LoBer,
There was some of Netgear servers that were affected by the Crowdstrike outage last Friday probably the reason why you were having problems accessing it. I suggest to contact Netgear support again so they can assist you with your replacement. Please prepare your proof of purchase so they can validate the warranty. Thanks in advance! 🙂
Have a lovely day,
