Updated Password not working

gs305ep upgrade software to V1.0.0.7 when attempting to change password what i entered is accemted however am not able to logon using the entered password and must do a reset and again attenpt pw update this is one that fails "Barn21POE" Is's getting real aggravating.

Did some similar test on another switch model using the same code base and UI .... can't set the password to eg. Barn21POE and ending with a non-accessible switch, too. Can't get rid of the impression the UI does allow a password policy as shown on the initial password enforcement...
...while the Barn21POE does fit the policy and input check, it appears that internally the password _without_ a special symbol isn't stored. NTGR is already informed, the ODM is working on finding the root cause.
