VoiP on Netgear GS728TP Problems
Hi There we are having basicly the same problem as this thread,
Phones randomly logging out and needing to be restarted.
Dropping calls mid-conversation (internal and external).
The difference is that we have no VLANs at all, the voice network does not touch the data network. All the switches are a variation of the 728, what is odd is that none of the phones show up in the ARP table of any of the switches. Does anyone have any advice?
O and we are using a cloud based PBX not onsite.
Thank you in advanced.

There are many different switch models and generations (dating from roughly two decades) carrying the number 728. Exact model and firmware version required.
ARP is an IP-MAC thing, so related to routing - look for the Address Table, aka. MAC Address Table.
No connection to the data network, and no VLAN - so this is a dedicated VoIP switch. Checked the Auto VoIP feature does not interfere with your network usage for example? Any indications in the switch logs?
