WAX610 Radius accounting
Hi there.
I have recently attempted to set up Radius authentication and accounting between PFSense and a Wax610 wireless AP.
I am able to successfully use Radius authentication (wpa2) between the AP and the Pfsense freeradius server, including dynamic vlan assignment.
However, I would like to limit a Radius account to only have a single connection at a time and as to prevent password sharing.
This is possible through PFSense by selecting 'number of simultaneous connections' on the user account.
I have had this feature working with other FreeRadius NAS clients, but I can't seem to get it to work when I am using the WAX610.
The same goes for setting a download limit for the day.
Does the WAX610 feature Radius accounting to be able to accommodate this?
All the best

The multiple-login check can only work is the client does submit accounting packets, and the radius server is implemented and configured accordingly. Needless to say, radius server and radius accounting server must be configured on each device.
For such questions please consult e.g. https://wiki.freeradius.org/Home, for questions related to the freeradius implementation on pfsense, challenge the https://forum.netgate.com/ - the makers of pfsense.
