All lights off on Netgear JFS524 Model 23 24 Port 10/100 Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Switch.
I have a Netgear JFS524 Model 23 24 Port 10/100 Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Switch. It had been in storage for a while.
Today when I tried to use it, it did not work.
I connected the AC power cable, Ethernet cables to router and laptop.
Initially all lights (every light, power and all lights for all ports) were on but I could not connect to internet.
Now all lights are off when power is applied.
There is a slight burning smell.
Replacing the switch solves the problem.
I contacted Netgear Customer Support but since I can not provide the invoice for the switch, they would not help me.
I suspect the internal power supply has failed.
Can anyone help me? I seek troubleshooting guidance, parts list, and schematic.

In the absence of the Proof of Purchase or Sales Invoice of your NETGEAR device, you may provide the following below as alternative:
a. An e-mail from the reseller for confirmation of sale.
b. Credit card statement showing the purchase of the device.Regards,
