Connecting 5386ac to Netgear switch
Router has orange led when connected to GS108

The orange LED you are referring on the 5386ac router, is that the power LED or LAN port LED? It would be best if you post a photo of it showing the label.
Is the 5386ac router directly connected to the GS108 switch? If yes, what is the behavior of the corresponding port LED on the GS108 where the 5386ac router is connected to.
