Daisy Chain GS108LP

Just a quick queston, is it possible to daisy chain two GS108LP?  I am trying to spread the POE budget on 8 IP cameras so I dont max one switch out at night when the IR 's come on.

Thanks!

  • Bandwidth permitting, yes, why not. With eight PoE cameras and just eight port the usage seems to be a little bit restricted anyway. If eight ports are enough (for PoE[+] cameras and uplink, you might consider the GS108PP (PoE Budget: 123W) version which is coming with the bigger power supply. Alternate approach might be using one GS116LP (PoE Budget: 76W) or GS116PP (PoE Budget: 183W).
