I am a bit surprised that your 505 is so quiet. I shall try to measure the 508 too.
Yes I read some advertisements on Ebay and internet and maybe I am going todo that.
If you put the 508 in a rack its ok but in a silent study / work room
The fan noise is such high and too loud.
The fan is’t automatic , are they? If so when he is at quiet mode? With less then 4 connections?

Dear all,
Add question about when is the ventilator light in the XS 508M going to orange, at what conditions?
I work with a Noctua fan is working pretty good but the light is orange.
I wander is that the RPM minimum value? or else? I dont think there is a blow CFM senor

Non-compatible tach signal, or RPM lower than specified. Note. The higher the propeller tip speed is, the higher the noise level. It's not difficult to design fans with low noise: Just lower the RPM, or power them off.
