GS105, GS205, GS305 or GS605?
Hi guys, I need a GigaBit switch for my home network, maybe I will insert the switch into the wall (in a sort of box). I see the site suggests me to buy GS205 or GS605, but what is the difference o...

I think it was EOL'ed just the "old" GS605, but now there is the new GS605 (GS605v5) which is currently supported... Anyway, what is better, plastic or metal? (thinking about heat and generally about wear)

Yes, you are correct. the older versions have been EOL'ed the V5 has gone through some changes on aesthetics and probably different chips used. All of these models are fanless because they don't really generate that much heat. But if you are going to ask me, I'll go for the metal versions.
