Hi malexandertx,
Welcome to NETGEAR community!
These specs for two switches:
GS105 – 5 Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch 10/100/1000 Mbps / GS105;
http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/GS105/GS105_datasheet_04Sept03.pdf
GS105 -- oper. temp 0-40C
GS105v5 – ProSAFE Plus 5-port Switch / GS105 V5
http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/datasheet/en/GS105v5-GS108v4.pdf
GS105v5 -- oper. temp 0-50C
If you buy GS105v5, the oper.temp should be 0-50C.

Additional info to my question above -- The paper installation guide sheet included with the GS104v5 also says oper. temp 0-50C in the spec section, even though the box for it says 0-40C. That spec sheet is dated Apr 2014 (bar code 201-18138-01).
