GS108 v.4 unmanaged switch drops the port connected to a MacBook Pro when Mac is rebooted
The port is connected to the MacBook Pro (Mojave) via a Thunderbolt2 Dock. Intermittantly when rebooting the MacBook, unplugging the RJ45 connnector and repllugging it will wake up the port and it works fine from then on. Any thoughts on how to have the port always work on any restart?

Unmanaged switches don't have anything you can change in them.
Maybe there's something you change in the macbook or thunderbolt dock.
